Instructions for checking browser settings for troubleshooting problems with loading courses

First, make sure that you are using an Internet Explorer web browser. The IE web browser is the only browser which supports all of the technology used in the courses. Other browsers, such as Firefox or Netscape, will not work with our courses.

If you had trouble with getting the courses to load in your IE web browser, more than likely it’s a browser setting issue. There are a couple of basic things we can check to see if they are set properly for the courses to load.

Let’s check these first. Below are the most common “fixes” to get the courses to load correctly.

Internet Explorer Settings Check:

Please go through the browser settings below and make any necessary changes to your browser settings. Please let me know if the browser instructions do not work for you.

You must be using a Microsoft Windows platform version 2000, XP, 2003, or Vista. Also our courses will only work with Internet Explorer version 5.5 sp2 or later. Other web browsers like Firefox, Safari and Opera are not supported.

Since IE for Windows is the only web browser which supports all of the technolgoy in the courses, Mac and Linux Operating Systems can only run the courses using a Windows simulation program such as Virtual PC or Crossover.
